The unique type of EQ used provides a broad musical shaping of stereo bus signals, allowing the user to concentrate on the whole picture with an effortless gluing together of the mix. You can think of it as something to set the stage and then mix into.

There is an infinite amount of interplay between the different bands. The ‘Top’ and ‘Air’ EQ alone manage to provide the curves sought after in other equaliser products , both analogue and digital, combined with the wonderful sounding valve amplification stages and Attitude control to give an unbeatable device to mix music into.

At the same time the Kite is an excellent recording EQ / saturator for mono or stereo sources, smoothing problematic harshness and transient spikes whilst enhancing sounds on the way in, allowing much easier sonic manipulation once recorded.

Features:

• All controls are stereo for easy use and indented for easy recall, except O/P TRIM for perfect alignment.

• HPF operates at 20 & 40Hz with a 12dB/octave curve

• BASS BOOST and BASS CUT both have 2 individual frequency points, use them together for a Mid Cut effect

• TOP SHELF - A broad Mid/Top Lift, a little like a Presence control. 2 frequency points

• AIR - Boosts the highest fequencies and will give an amazing spatial yet warm sound

• ATTITUDE - Switched control progressively adds special 2nd order valve harmonics

• OUTPUT TRIM - Individual controls to finely adjust the stereo balance

• -6dB switches - Attenuate the output by 6dB when operating at high signal levels

• Choose between "semi floating" inputs and unbalanced outputs or `transformer balanced I/O
