I’ve been a freelance producer / engineer for many years. Starting out in London and continuing to learn my craft ever since. Right at the start I met Vic Keary and was introduced to the world of valves and recording music, working with Vic for 5 years at his Chiswick Reach studio and beginning the design process of a piece of valve gear which became known as The Culture Vulture. The passion that Vic had for these things was passed on to me and I’m still driven to make my life all about them alongside the music production that goes with it.

I was very lucky to have learnt my music production craft in London from some incredibly talented and influential people. Picking up the ideas from them that stuck with me and evolved into the way I like to work with music production today.

Running in parallel with my studio career, Vic asked me to join Thermionic Culture shortly after he started the company as we’d already been working on what became The Culture Vulture. I didn’t hesitate then and I’m happy to say we carried on producing inspiring valve products and look forward to designing more new products into the future.

Now I’m based in Oslo, have an incredible studio space to put my equally incredible gear into and look forward to meeting new artists.

Helping to shape new music in whatever way I can is a pleasure that never gets old.

Part of that process became about helping people to obtain Thermionic Culture gear with my sales company. After many years, it’s still so much fun to do when you believe the gear is up there with the best and can help bring inspiring results to music making. That service has expanded to microphones from a few select companies that I believe also bring something unique and inspiring to the process.

The important technical backup that makes the gear trustworthy and rewarding to use for years to come is something I felt was important to put in place too.

I hope you enjoy looking around my website and always love to hear from anyone who thinks I might be able to help them.
